School Governors have legal duties, powers and responsibilities. They are appointed to help the Headteacher decide what is taught in school, to set standards of behaviour and dress, to interview and select staff and to decide in consultation with the Headteacher how the school's budget is to be spent. Governors serve for a period of four years. The Chair and Vice Chair are elected annually. |
